Jascha Lehmann is a senior climate-risk researcher at the MSCI Climate Risk Center, where he develops models to analyze potential future economic risks from weather extremes. Prior to MSCI, Jascha co-led the climate-extremes research group at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). He also worked as a scientific adviser to the director, John Schellnhuber. Jascha holds a doctorate in climate physics from the University of Potsdam and PIK and a master’s degree in physics from the Free University Berlin.
