MSCI in practice: Climate Action 100+ metrics explained

A growing number of investors are calling for a more complete vision of a company’s climate-related risk and its alignment to global warming trajectories. The investment implications of climate change have become increasingly prominent in recent years with leading institutional investors making climate change part of their investment strategies and setting climate-related objectives for their portfolios. Such initiatives include Climate Action 100+ (CA100+), which aims to use collective engagement to drive corporate action on climate change.
 
This Climate Action 100+ session will highlight how MSCI´s climate datasets and models can support institutional investors on their journey towards net-zero and in their engagement strategy with corporates.
